This combines recordings from several years made at Electric Lady in New York, Bolic Sound in Inglewood and Paramount in Hollywood, produced by Zappa. Side one was recorded alongside Over-Nite Sensation in spring 1973, while side two draws on 1972 sessions with later overdubs. Apostrophe' is an instrumental with a heavily fuzzed bass part from Jack Bruce, recorded in a November 1972 jam. Excentrifugal Forz uses a drum track originating in the Hot Rats sessions, and Stink-Foot is built on a backing track from the 1970 Chunga's Revenge sessions.
