Computer World is the Kraftwerk album about computers, home computing and digital communication, recorded between 1979 and 1981 at their Kling Klang studio in Düsseldorf. Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider produced it, and it was made entirely with analogue equipment, including vocoder, speech synthesis, an Orchestron, a Synthanorma Sequenzer and electronic drums, and no actual computer technology. Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flür are credited with the electronic drums and software. Hütter said "We live in a computer world, so we made a song about it."
