Heresie is a Rock in Opposition album by the Belgian band Univers Zero, built from just three long pieces, the longest of which, "La Faulx", runs more than 25 minutes. Recorded between March and May 1979, it pairs oboe, bassoon, violin and viola with guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, and relies heavily on dissonance, with dark, brooding and very complex melodies. The 2010 remaster adds a fourth track, "Chaos hermétique", recorded in 1975.
