Boris recorded this in 2005 at Sound Square, producing it themselves, with Souichirou Nakamura mixing and mastering. It combines doom, sludge, stoner and thrash with ambient, garage punk, noise, dream pop and post-rock, along with shoegaze-style passages. The lo-fi production is organic with a slight acid rock sound. A video was shot for the title track but only 100 DVD copies were made. Southern Lord reissued it in 2006 with different cover art, track order and length.
